English Business Courses at Vancouver English Centre
Our Business
English courses help people who are required to have English language
skills at their place of employment. Language skills are developed
through many stimulating, realistic communicative activities. This course
is suitable for a broad range of advanced students. Students may remain
in the program for 2 to 12 weeks. There are approximately 6 hours of classes
each day. Most students integrate the Business English courses into a
full time program.
Business English Courses
Marketing
Study the key concepts and vocabulary used in marketing. Case studies
are used. Discussion topics include:
marketing strategies and entrepreneurship.

Prerequisite: VEC Level 10+
Department: Business English
International Economy
Economic concepts and vocabulary in an overview of the economy in British Columbia. Discussion topics include: Tourism, Film and Television, Hospitality, and Information Technology. Study the key concepts and vocabulary used in the global economy. Discussion topics include: international trade, import/export, investing, and the stock and bond markets.

Business Internship (BINT)
In the Business
Internship Program, you will learn on-the-job communication skills
which include:
program policies and procedures, North American business culture, workplace
etiquette and communication strategies, and writing reports, letters,
and memos.

Business Grammar and Writing
Enhance your grammar skills while learning business terms and discussing
business-related issues.
